Although used for their cheapness in plastic or nylon anchors, they are not specific screws for the latter two materials. The lubrication treatment helps to reduce the friction coefficient during screwing, the 40° thread allows for excellent sealing, while the 22°/26° tip allows the screw to be used even on laminated surfaces without the slightest effort . It should be taken into consideration during the design phase that on short sizes the 22° tip significantly reduces the tightness of the screw, as on lengths such as 12, 16 or 18 the conical part of the thread is almost prevalent compared to the cylindrical part.
